THE GLOBAL BESTSELLER FOR FANS OF THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY AND LYNN PAINTER“You’ll love it . . .
a sugar-coated easy read, which is just what we need right now” Cosmopolitan“You know, people come to Italy for all sorts of reasons, but when they stay, it’s for the same two things.” “What?” “Love and gelato.”Lina is spending the summer in Tuscany, getting to know a father she never knew existed. She isn’t in the mood for Italy’s famous sunshine and fairy-tale landscape. She’s only there because it was her mother’s dying wish.
When Lina is given her mum’s old diary from when she lived in Italy, Lina uncovers a world of secret love, art, and hidden bakeries. And thanks to her new handsome, very-charming neighbour Ren, she may be about to have her own European summer romance. People come to Italy for love and gelato, Lina’s been told, but sometimes they discover much more .
. . A coming-of-age, swoon-worthy, close-proximity travel-romance full of hope and sunshine.
Now a Netflix movie.
