For centuries, humans and the magical races of Arcanis have been bitter enemies. Their only hope for reconciliation lies in the Arcane Crucible; a brutal series of trials that demands sacrifice for peace.
After losing the love of her life to the deadly trials, Elyria Lightbreaker is no longer the strong fae warrior she once was. But, when the sister of her lost love enters the same trials that claimed his life, Elyria must step up to protect her from meeting the same fate. Desperate for vengeance, Cedric Thorne is also determined to win the trials.
For his family, for his future and for humanity. Hardened by loss and fuelled by hate, Cedric and Elyria must find a way to work together to conquer the trials, and navigate their increasingly complex feelings for each other.
